Remuneration of Members of the Special Division and Prescribed Office holders

The Salaries and Allowances Tribunal has determined that senior public servants holding positions within the Special Division and Statutory Offices will receive a 3.25 per cent increase in salaries

The determination follows a review of the positions and provides a format which identifies the salary that attaches to each office in place of the previous practice of designating only the classification.

The “remuneration package” for these officers under this determination takes into account the provision of motor vehicles, superannuation and allowances and benefits which attach to each officer.

In determining the 3.25 per cent adjustment, the Tribunal has taken into account general economic conditions and wage movements in the public and private sectors.

The 3.25 per cent in salaries will have effect from 1 January 2013.
