The Salaries and Allowances Act 1975 provides at section 5(2) for the Governor to appoint three members to the Tribunal for a three-year term and one of those members shall be appointed by the Governor as the Chairman of the Tribunal .

Chairman - Mr W S (Bill) Coleman AM

Bill Coleman is a former Chief Commissioner and Commissioner of the WA Industrial Relations Commission (1986 - 2004). As Chief Commissioner WAIRC for 17 years, Mr Coleman has presided over all major public and private sector wage and salary cases in Western Australia. He was appointed to the Salaries and Allowances Tribunal on 25 September 2007.

Member - Mrs C A (Cathy) Broadbent

Cathy Broadbent is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA), operating her own taxation and accounting practice following 21 years employment with a global Chartered Accounting group. She has an extensive background in taxation issues relating to Senior Executives and their remuneration. Ms Broadbent is also a current council member of Perth College.

Member - Mr B J (Brian) Moore

Brian Moore is a former President of the Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes.  Mr Moore was previously the Chair of the Parliamentary Remuneration Reference Group, and for 18 years, was the Executive Officer to the Salaries and Allowances Tribunal.  Brian has an extensive background in classification issues, as well as parliamentary and judicial remuneration.
